eye SURVEILLANCE incidents

  

Property Manager detected suspect within minutes of arrival on property. Determined that suspect activity was suspicious and follow up with tenant adjourned to main office to determined is suspect was a visitor. Tenants reply no and never seen suspects. The Question is where did suspect go when leaving vehicle. No other apartments located in area and one possible location is the property’s main storage shed entrance on the side of building.


EvisionEYE QEP Team response and actions: Response Time 20 mins on location. 

  • Completed Online Incident Report
  • Added 7 new pre-set view points for PTZ Camera on Pole A to achieve better front office views
  • Strongly recommended removal of tree at main office area.
  • Suggested Camera on High Target Maintenance Shed for Surveillance of Entry and side area of main office.
  • Setup Continuous recording of Pole B and Focus Lens 2 on Front Office Area.

Lessons Learned:

  • TREE OBSTRUCTION AT MAIN OFFICE AREA (Recommended in Security Assessment)
  • ACTIVITY SECURITY SYSTEM GIVES EARLY DETECTION
  • REVIEW AND REPORTING OF SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY CAN PREVENT CRIME
  • SUSPECT HAD NO PLAUSIBLE PURPOSE FOR VISIT TO PROPERTY
  • LARGE MONITOR GIVES MANAGER VISUAL ADVANTAGE 
  • PTZ MOTION INCREASES CHANCES OF DETECTING ACTIVITY
